Boundary survey between Transvaal Colony and Portuguese East Africa. Covers the boundary section between Komati Poort and the Matingatinga River 15 miles southwards. Sheets portray hydrology, relief by spot heights, form lines and hill shading, railways, roads, place names, boundary markers and the boundary alignment. Includes latitude and longitude table of boundary points.The War Office ledger entry for WOMAT/AFR/TRA/34 bears the note 'See [WOMAT/AFR/TRA/]42 for final map.' The sheet bears the note 'The copy supplied to the Imperial Government [WOMAT/AFR/TRA/42/1] extends only between the red lines.' This extension increases the map area by approximately 4 miles to the north and south.
