Plane table survey covering the southern Abyssinia border from Gara Jima in southern central Abyssinia and Gara Ogorchi in northern East Africa Protectorate 370 miles westwards to Mount Naita in south-western Abyssinia to a width of approximately 30 miles. Portrays hydrology, relief by form lines and spot heights, survey sight lines, roads and tracks, settlements, place names and the expedition route, and includes topographical and ethnographical notes.Note: The form 'G[ara]. Ogorchi' is used in the War Office ledger; the variant 'G[ara]. Ogorchu' is used on the map face. G[ara].
